I am a devoted gardener; read almost every day, travel visiting museums, photographing, and, enjoy outdoor activities - hiking being a favorite, enjoy visiting with friends and believe in community volunteer work.  A full and involved life provides me with diverse experiences and wide ranging knowledge that influences my artistic vision and shapes my world view.

Over the years I've participated in solo shows and group exhibitions including the CPSA International  Exhibition and Explore This! exhibition. I have also exhibited at the Northwest Michigan Regional Show at the Dennos Museum, as well as at the Crooked Tree Art Center, Glen Arbor Arts Center, the Oak Park Art League, the Arc gallery in Chicago, among others. I’ve also been fortunate to receive several awards over the years.

I maintain memberships in the International and the local District Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America and at several art organizations including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Dennos Museum, Crooked Tree Arts Center, Glen Arbor Art Center and the Oak Park Art League.
